  1. This program is a version of the Mandlezoom program featured in
  2. Scientific American (August, 1985.)
  3. It requires an EGA with 256K memory, so that it can produce 16 color
  4. graphics in 640 X 350 resolution.  It will use a math coprocessor chip if it
  5. is installed.

  7. The file MANDLE.PIC is an image of almost the entire set.
  8. Try loading the file by hitting R for read (at any time!) 
  9. Then use the cursor mode (see below) to pick an area to zoom in on.
  10.  
  11. When you read or write an image, it is possible to abort by hitting ^Q.
  12. During a write, this will erase the file.
  13.  
  14. To start a new calculation, hit C [cursor] or E [edit].
  15. Upon completion of the setting of the new boundaries, the calculations will
  16. begin.

  18. When in zoom mode, the cursor keys (alone or in combination with CONTROL or
  19. SHIFT) will move the corners of the zoom box. The period (`.') key will move 
  20. the cursor around to different corners.  Hit return to finalize the zoom box.
